Real butterfly wings are used after their natural passing and turned into wearable art. Nothing is done to harm the butterflies. They come from preservation farms worldwide and information cards are included with each order.
These wings are from the Graphium Weiskei butterfly. Wings are hand cut and permanently preserved in a jeweler's grade resin and are approximately 1/8" thick with a glossy look. This beautiful necklace is lightweight, durable and waterproof. jeweler's grade resin finish. The finished wing dangles inside a sterling silver shape and is attached to an 18" sterling silver snake chain.
