Date Ideas in Cache Valley

  1. Thrift Store Bowling is extremely fun for group dates, but two can definitely tango. Hit up your favorite thrift store(s) and craft a custom outfit for your date. Get as goofy as you can and don’t forget the details. Then, head to your local bowling alley wearing your glamorous new outfit. Don’t forget to snap pics!
  2. Go people watching, but make it extra obvious by taking popcorn with you! The places you could try this quirky date idea are pretty endless, but here are a few location ideas (weather permitting) in the Cache Valley area: Cache Valley Mall, The Taggart Student Center or Library @ USU, First Dam, The Gardener’s Market, The Summerfest.
  3. Watch a classic movie at the newly re-opened Utah Theatre, check out the full calendar here: http://theutahtheatre.org/ - Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 under 12 & $5 Wednesdays! Make it extra fun and dress up in vintage clothes to honor this historic theater.
  4. Enjoy Live Jazz at Le Nonne Italian Restaurant - 129 N 100 E, Logan. If you haven’t been to this gem of a restaurant, I suggest you give it a try. Local, talented Musicians play on Wednesday, Friday & Saturday nights. Reservations are highly recommended as this quaint restaurant fills up quickly, try the front room with fireplace in winter, patio seating in summer, (435)752-9577. Browse the menu here: http://www.lenonne.com/dinner.htm
  5. Afternoon date at Caffé Ibis. Sip on a warm beverage of your choice (The Ibis serves many caffeine free beverages as well & they have a killer candy collection) & enjoy some live music on many weekends. It’s a great place to people watch, relax and read the paper as well. Follow in my footsteps and fall in love over a crossword puzzle with your date :) Remember to tip your hard working Barista and Deli Chef! Follow Caffé Ibis on Facebook to keep up to date with their events: https://www.facebook.com/CaffeIbis/
  6. Turn your bathroom into a spa for your love. Surprise your partner by cleaning the bathroom and removing any items normally in the bathtub area. Dim the lights, add candles and flowers if possible. Get some relaxing bath salts to add to the ambiance. Invite them to come see how clean you got the bathroom (double bonus points) and leave them to enjoy their calming oasis. For an added spa treatment, try an after bath massage with a warm massage candle. Light it to liquefy and set a tranquil mood, blow it out and use as you would normal massage oil. It’s divine!
